Besides it's a chinese made turbo. Anyone running one?

I have looked through numerous pictures of chinese turbos failing. It is worth spending more to avoid ingesting the parts as they break off the chinese turbo.

 

Some people have good results with the cheaper turbos- most of the horror stories I have seen at theturboforums were years ago. The quality seems to have gotten alot better on most of them. I have personally bought 2 ebay turbos and had them checked out professionally before using them and they appeared to be made of Garrett replacement parts- except for the housings. I havent seen a single thread within the past year at the forums about one failing.

For just a few hundred dollars more, you can get a Borg S400(which can support 1000hp). I have seen brand new ones advertised at turbomustangs in the $500 range.
