Anyone boosted a vortec max?

Hey guys, I'm still waiting to find the time to add my kb kit to my 2008 crew vortec max, was just wondering if anyone has done it and if there's any tips or tricks you could enlighten me with.

I've done it. It's no different then any other LS engine. It's a G8 engine with truck accy.

What size turbo did you have, also how did your stock tranny handle it at what psi?

Your 4l70e should handle some good power for a good while. Depends on your tune as well. What are your HP goals? Daily driven? Weekend toy?

I started with a 76mm Turbo but replaced my 4L70e with a 6L80 when I installed the turbo kit. So my stock 4L70 never seen boost.
