The stock ProCharger kit, with low boost (7psi-8), and conservative tune, will make 460-480rwhp on a 100% stock truck. Comes ready to rock and roll full kit, and tune included.

The only issue, is trying to get traction in 1st. Literally no chance in hooking up unless you have some serious sticky tires.

Well I ended up going back to gas. Picked up a black 2015 Sierra Denali last month. Have 4000+ miles on it already and I love it!!!

Would really like to put a TVS1900 on it. "On Paper", it seems like it would be good for high 11's, but I've only seen one example and it barely is getting into the 12's.....

My old SS truck ran 12.20 at 110 with a radix (2.8 pulley). It also rans mid 12's in the heat of the summer. I don't see how a truck with almost 100hp more stock and a more efficient blower isn't coming closer to those times. I guess the newer blower could be pullied down some and the tune leaned on a little, but.........................who knows. It may not tolerate more boost given the high compression ratio. I know, it's di, but has anyone pushed the envelope? I seen promising results with the vette guys...............

Am I on crack or shouldn't these trucks be in the 11's (good air) with headers and a TVS???? Give me hope please. I'm not going to shell that kind of cash out and have it run 13's (most of the time)...no way! Surely someone has leaned on one a little by now. Thanks for any feedback you can give.

P.S. I hope I don't sound like an ***. If I do, my apologies. I just expected more with 420hp stock and way better gear ratios....Thx again.

I think your comparing of this "on paper" is a little off or you forgot to put the weight aspect into it. The main difference to me after a quick look is the weight and mods, new crew cabs look to weigh in the 56-800lb area before adding driver. That is enough for almost a .5sec difference probably by its self. your ss didnt just have a supercharger and headers from the looks of it. put a supercharger with smaller pulley, longtubes, cam, and converter in a new truck and you would get the times your looking for.

I had not considered the weight. Good point. I'd have to go find my slip but from what I recall my SS weighed 5500 or maybe 5520 with me in it (I weigh 280).

I'm going to weigh this new truck and post back my results. Sounds like maybe 300lbs heavier??? I'll let u know.

My best time and mph was actually without the 90mm tb/j-tube or e-fans. Great air and cold as hell! Also with Flowmasters! LOL

I added better exhaust, tb, etc and pretty much matched that time but in hotter weather. Never got the stars to align to make a 12 teen pass which I feel it definitely had in it but I was happy with it but I digress.

Converters definite help but the gear ratio is actually steeper on this new truck with the 3.23 rear and low low 8 spd 1st gear vs the 4L65e 1st gear and 4.10 rear.

Like they say, only one way to find out lol

Ok, took my 2015 Sierra Denali (Crew cab/short bed) 4x4 with 6.2. Weighed it with a tick over a 1/2 tank of gas, without me = 5700lbs on the nose!

WOW! Didn't realize it was so heavy. So basically a 6000lb race weight!

I guess it's a good thing I'm starting out with almost 100 hp more lol. Numbers make more sense now.

Anyone know what a Double cab/standard bed 4x4 weigh?

NOTE: I weighed this out a local truck stop on their certified scales.
