Question Anybody run meth before and after blower?

Anybody here ever run methanol before and after a supercharger? I currently have it after the blower, but I am going to add a nozzle before as well....trying to keep IAT's down until a custom intercooler can be fabbed. Would I need to use 2 smaller nozzles that equal the same amount of spray to the 1 nozzle I am running now? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Adding it before the whipple would be useless, IMO.

What are your IAT's?

i know the temps get high as the air is compressed, but why wouldn't cooler air going in = cooler air coming out?

Not really sure. I don't have the software to log anything, but a frind of mine does so I need to have him log some.
Thanks for the reply. I know what you mean about it possibly not making a difference...just trying to get a colder air. I even thought about a small shot of nitrous before the whipple which would probably be more effective than ww fluid. If I add it I'll get the IAT's before and after the 2nd nozzle and post the results.

You might just need a bigger nozzle in the current location.

Have you relocated your IAT sensor?

Yeah...moved from the MAF to right before the throttle body after the blower. I am using the 350 to 450hp jet that came with the kit. I think there is a bigger nozzle in the box. I have it coming on at at boost and is wide open at 6lbs with the progressive controller, but I am thinking about turning it to wide open at 1lb and see if it makes a difference.

I think if you're going to be injecting before the blower you would have to have some cold meth. A good check would be a temperature sensor before the blower to see how it compares with ambient. 80* meth isn't going to cool much if the air is 90*, and the meth may not be able to evaporate....?

Could you cause inpingement(sp?) on the blower?

$.02, and I expect some change....

I would recommend you do a little reading on the subject too. I'm in the process of maybe doing the same as you. Check out some of the threads on here: http://www.aquamist.co.uk/phpBB2/vie...15a32776b20458 they might help your decision.
