Any Turbo guys run into this before
#1
Okay so for the most part mods in sig with exception of monster catch can by rev extreme. Everything is hooked up right but for some reason while tuning part throttle, truck leans out. Currently have a 2bar map as well as the maf hooked up and running. The catch can has allot of unmetered air entering the engine which is understood, but has anyone ever done something different? I cant figure out why truck is leaning out at part throttle. even when adding more fuel to it. Cant tune for WOT without fixing this first. I thought fuel pump as its the stock one but that looks good. 08 silverado 4.8 non flex fuel. anyone? efi live tuning. (not me) I guess im looking for a starting point before i start throwing parts at the truck and resulting in nothing.

how are you adding the fuel? and why are you using both a 2bar and a maf? is that doable with the newer computers? if so then you need to add fuel via the maf not the ve table. if you were using just map then there would be no unmetered air because the map would pick it up and your ETB should adjust to keep the idle down. also is this open or close loop? if its close loop it should add its own fuel. but from what i have seen with single turbo kits, one o2 will pick up just one bank and the other will pick up both banks and can make them fight each other. that why i turned mine off. it worked for a little while but it eventually failed.
