Ok I have a 2003 SS Silverado. Going to put in a shift kit and trans stuff. What type of TC should I go with. It is my DD. Also what size injectors.
Also read people saying not to use the FMU. Why. Just want to know why you don't use it, or do you go with a bigger one.. All and any info would be helpful.. thanks

Depending on the boost i'd go with 42#ers. The FMU is alot more basic than injectors and a tune and more people like to get their truck as efficient as possible so a tune is key. good luck!

Most guys seem to like about a 3000 stall with the Procharger.
An FMU is sort of a bandaid kind of way to add fuel with stock injectors when you add boost. It raises fuel pressure about 12 psi for every pound of boost, so the injectors squirt more fuel for the same amount of open time.
Going with larger, say 43lbs/hr injectors and a tune for them, is much less stress on the fuel pump and a lot easy to dial the tune in and more reliable.
