I kinda made my own kit, I had Ray cut my phenolic for me and asked him a bunch of questions haha. I dont know if I would say the spacers are required but seeing how everything goes together I would highly suggest them. I spent a decent amount of time Mic'ing mine out so they were exact.

Everything really turned out nice man!

11's no problem this spring, Def. wanna see how much this spacer helps.

Very cool write up, i thought maybe some more guys out there would share, maybe they camaro guys.??

Also Lucille, like asked what size TB did you have before the 102?

If i can gain a # of boost switching / modding to a 102 im going to really have to think about it

I started with the stock (87mm?) throttle body. I wasn't really looking for an upgrade but my stock unit failed and the local remaining dealer is not Mod friendly regarding warranty work. I figured if I had to spend the money I might as well get what I wanted.

As soon as Nelson gets the 4" MAF adapters back in stock I'm planning a full 4"intake stream. I'm thinking that may give me another pound or two of boost.

Of course I also still running the 09 stock cat back exhaust. I'm looking to upgrade to the newer 3 1/2 inch exhaust or a near-factory quite aftermarket system(recommendations???). I expect that to reduce boost by a pound or two. Then its time to call LeftCoast.

13+# if boost would be pretty intense. I almost can't believe that 1900 can pump out so much boost with a cam the size of yours on a 6.0.

I wonder how much a set of 1 7/8" headers would decrease it... I would imagine the header/intake combo would get you some decent gains and net you somewhere close to the 12#'s your currently running.

Not to get off topic here... but if the net of those 2 mods meant you were only running 11#'s, but there is clearly more air beign moved through the engine... what is the net effect on performance and times?

More air equalls more power regardless of boost. You can loose boost and gain power by increasing efficiency.

My spacer is not phenolic, but I figure the gaskets on both sides of the spacer do prevent some of the heatsoak. At the same time we installed a larger (+/- 40%) intercooler. Rick @ Trick also put dual spray-bars in the spacer so that if I still need help with IATs I can always add meth or nitrous OR BOTH.
