So after searching the forums and internet and coming up empty handed iv decided to don the flame suit and just ask. Has anyone been able to set up the ams1000 to work with the 4l80e? Im referring to boost by gear or boost by speed not timed ramp or scramble. The truck came with 4l60e and is swapped to the 4l80e with the necessary changes to the harness. At this time I do not have an aftermarket controller. So if you have had and success with what im looking for please share with what was needed.

Just a Trigger switch that activate when shift is made in case of manual shifting other wise is an automatic need to take signal from A and B solenois and use a 12vdc plc to decode 2 bit signal from tcm.

That's what im trying to figure out. If anyone has been able to successfully tap into the trans harness and have the ams1000 recognize when the tcm sends the shift signal

 

Do you make manual shifting or auto? what tc control do you use oem or after market like tci tcu?

 

id like to keep it auto. using the stock tc but don't have an issue swapping an aftermarket if I have to

 

Iv seen some people mention setting about an LPE box. Anyone have any idea what this is?
