Default Am i expecting to much?

Got a kb intercooled turbo installed on the sierra in my sig, shes being dyno tuned as we speak, so far she only put down 390 rwhp and 420 lb ft of torque, i was exspecting high 400 hp and tq at this point on 10lbs, is that exspecting to much out of a 6 speed 5.3 4x4 with 3:42 gears?

On a stock 5.3 that is pretty solid. If you throw a cam at it or a bigger motor that is a different story. Also considering the leveling kit you are probably on taller than stock tires. Which doesn't help.

It is a bone stock 5.3, hes doing the pulls in third gear, hes going to do some more tuning in fourth tomorrow. Truck is leveled but still on the stock 275/65/17s. I honestly have no idea what kind of dyno hes using

I would think it should be higher for 10 PSI. Does your tuner feel that it is close to being finished? Maybe timing is real low yet.

Thought it seemed low for 10 psi aswell. Im not sure how much more he thinks he can squeeze out of it, whats a typical power for a 5.3 turbo? I know he had to screw with thr afr alot because of the maf being rught at the throttle body after the 90* bend

Plus the DA is pretty bad today in most places in Canada I checked. Do you know what the AFR and timing are at?

It wouldnt have to do with the maf sensor being after a 90 degree bend and my tuner having trouble getting the afr right because of it?

It sounds reasonable to me if its a mustang dyno and a stock truck cam/valvesprings.
