I had some heater circuit codes pop up a while ago, I though that may be due to using that pin. I am up and running now though

Alkycontrol is great! The kit works flawless. I pulled some fuel out of the PE table to get an 11.5:1 AFR. I also bumped my timing from 17 degrees to 25. Before Alky, I would get a bit of knock at 17 degrees, now I don't have a hint and am running 25. The truck pulls much harder now. I can't wait to get it back to the track. Thanks TurboBerserker and KySilverado for the help.
You're welcome. It is a great kit. Several ways to account for the extra fueling. I pulled from PE also. Makes for a strange looking table but works great and then should still be able to modify enrichment rates to get what you want. I've never gone to 25 but do 22 IAT dependant and never see any KR at WOT.

So with alkycontrol kits, you can't tap the signal wire from the 2/3 bar MAP the PCM is using?

I believe you can get away with tapping the pcm's map sensor (MAP or MAF or any 0-5v), but I think the signal quality is reduced. Julio would be a good guy to ask this question if you were considering a kit.

That's the problem we were having with my setup.

Breeze, I can't believe there is more left in your set-up. You'll love your kit!

The PAC needs to be on a stand alone MAP. I ran mine of a 3-bar that drove a guage for a while and Julio said "Well... okay, but..." and then I promptly switched it to a stand alone

At one point I had 4 MAPs in the truck... Right now, I'm down to 3 functioning MAPs, except I carry around a 3 bar MAP (that will migrate to PCM control when I find a compatible pigtail) just in case I find a guy on the side of the road selling 3 bar MAP pigtails or something (no idea why I carry it... I just do ).

As for a 12v switched power sourced, I cut some insulation off of a thick red wire that runs from somewhere in the steering column to the back of the fuse panel in the truck. Then soldered the red wire from the meth kit to it.
Seems to work for me.
