Default A2W IC / Thermo question???

Any thermo students out there need a project for class?

I am tring to figure out some heat exchange senarios in my a2w setup. I took thermodynamics in college about 10 years ago but dont remember a whole lot. Basicly, iirc, all temps will transfer untill they are equal given enough time. So if I had 95* ambient air flowing across a 100% efficient heat exchanger, it would cool the water to 95* at the coolest. Assuming the second he was 100% efficient and the coolant exiting the he was 112*, that would mean the air crossing it would be 112* as it enters the he, right? Does that mean the air exiting the intercooler is at 95*? Or is the air/water equalizing at 112* meaning the inlet air temp is 119* and exit temp is 112*? In a closed system, will the air crossing the heat exchanger ever be cooled to below ambient temp of the coolant?

Now to the real world where nothing is 100% efficient. How much air cooling is taking place where the inlet coolant is 95* and exiting coolant is 112*. 7* as stated above? Assuming proper coolant flow for max heat transfer, what would the inlet air temps be to only transfer 7* of heat? Coolant is 90% distilled water and 10% Dexcool.

Um.... I just used 2 medium Transmission Coolers. IATs are about 2-3* while crusing. They dont climb that fast while in boost either.

From what i gather in your post, I do not see any possible way to get the IAT or Water below Ambient Temp.
But i just live out in the country and dont know nothing... haha

"Will the air crossing the heat exchanger ever be cooled to below ambient temp of the coolant?"
Is this your question?

I put a Outdoor Temperature gauge thing in my W/A Resivor and while crusing down the highway at 55ish the Gauge reads Ambient. When i go WOT the temp climbs 10-15* then drop off pretty quick.
