I recently purchased a Magnacharger and I am trying to get the most out of it as possible. I have a drive by wire 78mm throttle body 3 bolt right now and have seen people who have 90mm ls2 4 bolt throttle body on this setup. Does anyone know who makes an adapter plate or what has to be done to get this 90mm throttle body on the magnacharger. Is there performance gains or trouble with tuning?

I bought my conversion j-tube and throttle body fromm WCCH who is a sponsor to the right. I have not installed it yet as I am still collecting parts for my next mod . You probably want to go with the x-link plug and play connector for the mod for maximum performance.

Welcome to the forum 03tahoe22!!
Yes, you will want a 90mm J-tube fro the radix and a "Dr.X-link" available from torquerush dot com.
You can convert the stock j-tube but it'll take a little work.

How much is a new J tube? I am assuming you are calling the tube off the back of the supercharger that... how hard is that to change out? Is the performance seen really worth the money? tube + throttle body + harness = $$$ Can this money be spent more beneficiallly somewhere esle?

not sure of the cost, I got mine from a friend...I would wait, read and listen to the advice of the members of this board. This is where I learned what I wanted and how to get there.
90mm conversion is a good mod but you have a few things to do before you need to worry about it. Cam is one. What size pulley you have on there now and what kind of tuning?

the supercharger was just installed....last weekend... I had a problem with the injectors that were with the kit so i had to order mini delphi to EV6 adapters. the kit came with a 2.75 pulley but i bought the oem 3.4 i planed putting that on and installing the stock tune....Upgrading what needs to be done and them adding more boost not sure if 2.75 is too much it came off of a 6.0 denali. I also purchased a zex wet nitrous kit which i wasnt sure if i was going to install put the price was right so i might sell it not sure.

if I was you I would run the stock pulley and get your mods later. i upgraded pulleys and saw a lot of gains but you also see a lot more issues and it requires you throw a lot more money at the thing. You will be happy with the 3.4 pulley for a good while and it has great manners.

It has 43# delpi injectors. Terravast4 whose post at the top has a 2.8? Yes the stock magnacharger 3.4 pulley tune. What pulley do you recommend after the 3.4 as an upgrade? Is a cam totally necessary i would like not to get too extreme with this.... I have never changed a cam but i bet it is alot harder than installing the supercharger. Diablosport is in my backyard so they will probably be doing the dyno tunning? They tunned the 6.0 with the 2.75 and had no problems but i would like input so i dont make any mistakes.

I got my 90mm j tube cheap from WCCH as they were clearing them out. I think Magnuson started making their own. Check with WCCH as they may still have some...the product looks great.
