I just bought a TBSS TB, so I am going to experiment a little. I am going to see if is possible to take the electrical guts out of my stock 78mm TB, put them in the TBSS TB, and swap back to my stock tach module. I may be dreamming, but worth a look.

Still performing well. No issues. Will be investigating something more plug n play as well.

Just got back to this. Waiting for a backordered component. Want to keep the circuitry as simple and robust as possible. Should be another week or 2 before I can test it.

I'm sure you already tried it out by now, but its not going to be an easy swap. I played with the same idea over a year ago.

Richard,

I actually haven't had time to try anything yet

I did see your thread and it doesn't look as easy as I originally anticipated.
