8 rib conversion water pump
#1
I am researching stage 3 of upgrades and am probably going to get the Roush blower inlet fixed up with swappable 8 rib pulleys. So, if I am doing an 8 rib conversion, I am thinking the water pump is probably going to be on borrowed time. I would consider an electric pump if I didn't daily drive, so I was wondering if anyone is using the PRW pump.
If so, which part number? Are you having good luck with it? Am I better off just welding or pinning a factory pump?

I used the PRW waterpump on my rebuild with no operational issues thus far. Upon installation I had to mill down the back of the pulley to clear the KB idler bracket. I did run a tacked stock pump for a while after doing the 8-rib swap with no problems.
