8.1l high boost

I would probably work of fueling. Build the motor with higher compression and run like 18-20psi. Im in agreement with the others. Better buy an extra hood in case the head comes through the hood. Bit if you did build it and it worked it would be badass.

Yeah I have asked about fueling setups so I can spedn the money once and be set. But never got a good answer.
For now I got a stock 07 pump supporting 750 horse going to upgrade to an a1000
And then probably add another a1000 when i start making the real boost

I am already building a motor to do this, first off too much stroke. Motor I am building 4.5 bore and 4.250 stroke. head bolts too small, I will be using 1/2 bolts. base compression will be 9-1. Getting those raylar heads i got from tierod sent off to getter bigger exhaust valves and some more port work. And of course aftermarket block. My custom intake twin 85 mm's hope to have some results next year after i get my other projects running when i get back from deployment
still thinking this with a second rear axle and fat tires so i can do a 6x6 set up and dare some one to race me because putting the power to the ground at that point would be no problem

it is extremely hard to build something to hold 30psi if it wasnt designed for it. most people that want to run 30 psi on a v8 have never rode in a car on 15psi of boost,

ok its really not outside the box, there is a reason u dont see an 8.1 on 30psi of boost, because for 1 it will not hold it. 2 for the money you can build a much better and bigger motor,

ok so you have not road in a V8 on 15psi, an eclipse on 15psi is dog$hit, sorry man, not to boast but a 427 on 15psi will make 1100rwhp, i know, my car does it. and it cost right at $25,000 to make the motor hold it at 25psi and 1500rwhp, i know, i did it, so
A. the 8.1 will never hold 20-30psi
B. if you spend a fortune and try it, it will be a time bomb
C. 2000hp 8.1 on 30psi will cost well over $50,000 by time to do all the supporting mods to your truck are done to hold it.
D. can the "for now" crap, its gay. i can say my cars on 25psi "for now" . man up, it is what it is, 15psi is what its on, then thats it.
E. outside the box- you can go outside the box but there is a reason people stay in it. because it works with engines. your not going to do anything new with that someone else hasnt. at least not with a 8.1 engine. yes you can say you have a boosted 8.1, but the diesel guys will still think its inferior to them which it is. you will say you run 30 psi, the powerstroke guy will say "big deal" im on 50psi.

you are exactly the negitive kind of person that doesnt need to come into these threads and comment.. some of us dont give a **** what it cost to do these projects and have no problem figureing out what it will take to do this but its people with your opinion that say oh its to expensive just build --- and it will cost less or be easy... i dont give a damn if its hard or easy or cheap or expensive when i go to build a toy then its a toy and goes together at the rate that can be afforded.. if you would like to voice your opinion and be negative have another beer and go somewhere else

i wonder what it would take to fuel it completly and never get lower then say 90psi
