Default 78 or 80mm

Well im currently in the process of looking for turbo upgrades to go with the new motor...

The current MP T-70 will probably be good for up around 13ish #s before its out of steam... or so has been said. I like the looks of the MP T76, and now that different trims are out, they look even better. Ive looked at Turbonetics TC78, and also was recommended the MC78 and was told they're pretty similar. another that has caught my eye is the Borg Warner ST 480SX... supposedly leaps and bounds ahead of their GT series...

I'm not looking for peak boost numbers, I'm looking for the most efficient boost numbers. a hair difference in spool time wont be a big deal to me, this isnt a "race only" type setup. besides, I like giving the guy Im racing a couple seconds of hope before he sees me leave him sitting still

I'm looking for around 10#s for the street, and around 15#s at the track. I just dont think the little 70, as good as it is on a <5.3, will give me what Im wanting on the 347. That being said, I will be breaking the motor in and running with the 70 for a couple months, just so I can see exactly what its deficiencies are with my setup, so I can get the best possible info on my side going into a turbo upgrade... peak numbers arent the main focus here... the power will be there no matter which I choose....

If you want to keep spool times close to the same then the TC78 is the answer. IT will blow the MP76 out of the water. Also the 480 will make more power then both but will seem quite lazy compared to a MP70 or TC78.

You mentioned efficienct boost numbers: The borg warner unit will be the most efficient one per pound of boost.
