First, I want to thank everyone who helped me with advice, wrenching and parts. Trick Turbo, New Era Performance, Beau from Texas Speed, Gagetized and Stock48. The last couple months will now allow me to keep, enjoy my truck and be reliable/safe for my daughter and I for years to come.
I tried to produce a true comparison but the temp difference was 30* ( 60* from last April up to 90* yesterday) and I have a different torque converter (from a Yank tt3000 to a FTI 3000)
This cam loves the RPM. I picked up some decent power from 4500 to 6500 rpm. There was no knock retard, plenty of fuel and seemed like everything is working as I hoped. No issues, no knocks, no leaks... life is good. As we all have done on the dyno, I originally get caught up on the numbers but I know the time slip will show the true difference the changes have made.
I dont have the log but going off memory:
Boost - 11psi
Injector Duty Cycle - low 60s %
Timing - 14*
IAT from a street pull of 0 - 90 mph went from 90* - 120*.
Fuel pressure stayed in the mid 50s psi
1st gear to 2nd shift point is now 6500 rpm
2nd gear to 3rd shift point is now 6200 rpm
