Nice #'s man, for those who dont think it is a 4.8 what do you think it is?
Looking at the dyno graph it looks like a small cube motor (4.8) with lots of boost to me, kinda low on tq and doesnt start really pulling till after 5k.

I know its a 4.8 and it is what he says it is
. I talked with him extensively all through this build. I posted this cuz he is a customer of mine and I think it's a hell of an achievement for him. His truck and this build look killer and this shows what a 4.8 is capable of. It's had for some to except that a 4.8 can do this, because no one has done a small cube motor with a big turbo in this application before. Quik is the first and it worked. Some people on here may have personality conflicts with him, as he is a very openly opinionated person, but that has nothing to do with this accomplishment. All things aside, He's done an out standing job with this setup and pushed things to a new level. That's my 2c on this

NIce numbers for sure, nothing new about a small engine making big power. But new for the 4.8 doing it. So many think there is a HP limit to any engine combos parts. But if you stay out of the detenation your limiting factory is more likely your clamping force holding the heads down.
This is why turbo trucks usually live longer then nitrous truck at this hi of power output. But thats another thread.
