Has anyone seen this "4.8"? I mean that's got to be the most I've seen out of a "4.8" for real.

Not to be a dick...but he's got to be some sort of intelligent. He's made a STOCK 4.8 hold together where your BUILT 5.7 took a :****: he's got his **** together somehow. Like him or not he knows his ****. Yeah he's got what most of us would call a "mismatched combo". He had a 408, blew it up, didn't have the funds to rebuild so he worked with what he had. Give him some props dude

 

You have no clue why my motor went, neither do I for that matter as of right now, all I know is I put it in, 500 miles later it lost oil pressure, and now its on its way back to the guy who built it, who isn't me... You make it seem as I blew mine up with the turbo LOL, not at all the case.

What could I have done about it?

At any rate, what I said wasn't directed at his setup, which I don't agree with and don't think it is what he says it is when you get right down to it anyway... What I said was directed at the fact that if the guy doesn't know how to conduct himself, ever seen the episode of Pinks he was on? Yeah, their hacked together car "won" but look who was there, and how the acted... I don't think I need to say anything else. It is what it is.... And too many people take things at face value, and fill in the blanks with whatever they want to... That's all there is to it really.

i give anyone credit who has the knowledge and experience to make power with anything, espescially a not comon combo that there isnt any info on the net to copy.
