Sorry to hear that man. Mine DOD as well as you know. I just drove it home and gave it hell anyway. Damn bad injector!

I'm going L92 heads and L92 carb intake, which I ordered today.

Rest In Pieces!

Another fallen soldier. I'm glad to see it made that much power though. I think that's a 5.3 record that will stand for a long time to come.

That a bad *** combo, I like the sound of that. I was planning to blow this motor up anyway, just wanted to see how far she would go.

I didn't even get a chance to see what the NOS would do, with lower boost levels of course. I am shure someone will come along very soon, and take it to the next level. I am thinking about seeing how far I can go with a stock 6.0. But if I keep doing this, the wife is going to make the truck disapear. Like she did with my bikes.

not to steal this thread but, why couldnt you just run the piping through the stock airbox from the bottom? the box would just be for show, no pressure. and pipe it to the intake tube??

I don't expect an L92 setup to be worth much at all over a standard Gen III/IV set of heads. Under boost the intake port isn't your biggest battle, it's the exhaust side. The L92's aren't all that impressive on the exhaust side. I do expect there to be some gain, but nothing like on a naturally asperated setup.

Sorry to hear about the 5.3L giving up the fight, but sometimes it's just a learning curve. Time for more power...

Na man, i was talking about the turbo piping into the intake. Pull the panel filter out and come in from the bottom of the box. then pipe it to the intake. Sounds good, but i saw a picture of some guy on here that blew his airbox top off from a few PSI.. i dont know how much the intake tube would hold... sounds like a good idea.
