6 Lbs of boost is not enough
#1
6 lbs just isn't quite enough for me. It just needs a little more. I guess it really is a big truck with a lot of weight and crappy gears.
Looks like I will be getting a bigger spring so I can get up to 10 lbs. Anything else I need to get besides a new tune?

already got the 42 lb injectors. I think those will be good enough. Brian is sending me a 255 walbro...whole thread on that situation if you look. So that will be taken care of.
Trans I have the regular parts to upgrade...and I am ready to pull the trigger when needed for a level 5 flt.

Don't be getting on that thing until you get the 255 in! My truck was going dead lean with the stock pump, and 6LBS. I have 60lb injectors though. Try 8psi. My truck was really strong down there with 8.There is a nice gain between 6 to 8psi. Do you have a AFR gauge on there? Mine was dead rich once I got the 255 in. I ended up turning the boost up to 10psi and the AFR was right on.

Goes right to 10.9 and stays there. I am getting the pump, no problems there..I will just pull the bed back off and do it when I get it.
I would think the 42 lb injectors are good for 10 lbs of boost.
