Default 6.2 Trick Performance 80mm results

Ok, after working out the setup and tuning gremlins on my truck I can finally give my thoughts on the kit. The truck is a 2012 GMC Sierra Denali AWD with a somewhat custom kit from Trick Performance. It has an 80mm turbo and 3.5" down pipe through a stock muffler. We set the tune up for 9-10lbs boost, and this thing screams. I weighed the truck in at 5900lbs with me in it. I don't have track times yet, but I have a C5 ZO6 with a T-Rex cam that puts down 430rwhp and from a 40 punch the Vette couldn't run it down under 100. The thing drives like a totally stock truck under all driving conditions until you stand on it. I'll get some video up of the Vette vs the truck soon. In the mean time if your considering a turbo for your DD I would highly recommend one of Rick's kits over at Trick Performance. His customer service throughout the install and taking many phone calls helping to dial it in we're a huge help with this project.

Thanks again. I agree with your math. Calculators and seat of the pants point closer to 600.

9-10# gets that kinda power, but u gonna get it to track? Sounds like that's the plan eventually.
Congrats, as u are no stranger to boost.

I'm curious tho, what makes this kit kinda custom? Is it the 3.5" DP?

Waitin for vids. Til then, I gotta say it. :ripped
Any install pics?

It has a different crossover with a larger waste gate, two piece 3.5" down pipe, larger intercooler, and 80mm turbo. The log manifold is the same, and it is a t4. It's crazy how much air the 6.2 can flow.

If you cab believe it I've only been able to get the tires to chirp once or twice. I am running wide 24" rims though.
