Default 6.0 VortecMax or 6.0 Vortec

im trying to find an lq4 engine and ran across a vortecmax which has 345 hp, i currently have a 4.8, STS 220/220 cam .581 112lsa, t56 conversion being done right now, would the vortecMax be better to swap instead of a regular Vortec, is it the same compression

345 HP = 10:1
Lq4 = 9.5:1
The Lq4 will work better in a f/i application

I'd go for the vMAX LQ9 motor. The half point in compression would be offset by a tighter quench area from the flat top piston. Plus the LQ9 has thicker / stronger connecting rods and a better wrist pin setup than the LQ4.

I think that the 05 & up 6.0 engine are all the same as far as connecting rods and wrist pins
