Yes, it's the intake of the TBSS and also the NNBS trucks. It's a 90mm intake, nice upgrade. Do a search there's tons of info

thanks man , yep, you can get them off a tb or nnbs truck. its def worth the swap.

Good numbers! I made 486/505 with my old 5.3 with about 10 psi on a 62-1 and a mail order tune. Im pretty sure bumping the timing up a few deg. would have got me easily over 500. Nice numbers for sure!

did you ever dyno before and after on the intake? there was talk about the tbss mani but it was short lived. some one making claims of 60hp on turbo motors or soemthing.

nope, i slapped it on when i was doing the turbo kit.

i know when i had a lq4, 243 heads and 230/227 cam. it was a nice seat of the pants gain, nothing on paper to prove it though

i found the thread where it made like 15/15 over stock. it was in the exhaust general section. what tb are you using? the tbss tb close up under boost i guess.

im just using a truck style 90mm tb with a dr.x harness. no probs!

so its not closing up on you? thats good maybe its a tbss tb only thing. does it open upside down like the tbss one?

I'm pretty sure it is a TBSS only problem. I think most people run the LS2 or NNBS style and don't have those issues.
