look at everyone faster then you and go from what they have for gear

to low of a gear number will put more slip in the converter, the load ppl speak of is the old school way of thinking with a snail. The proven theory of gearing the setup for peak power thru traps will always still play out

gone 160s with 373s and 28" tires

Just FYI, a BW turbo will not even come close to fitting On3 pipes. Whole different turbine housing. They are a mid frame T4 where On3 stuff is all small frame T4 from what I've seen.

Default gears

I think 3.73 and 4.10(my favorite) work great with 4l80e .2.56 first gear ratio. 4l60 has 3.06 and 6l70 has 4.02 first gear ratio .those might not like gears from what I have seen.

I had 4.10s, then switched to 3.42s. I absolutely hated 3.42s. It did not load the turbo better in my opinion. I switched to 3.90s and i like driving my truck again.

Dont fear the gear.

Like others said.

The spool to gear load the engine turbos like that.
Is old thinking.

We have had several customers go to
From 342/373 to 4.10.
Run quicker
Rpm faster
But had less boost throu the traps.

I think ill be going with the Isky 218, but might end up with a custom grind.

Sounds like a beast.
