I would like to try one !.... I have a T70 now with a .96 hotside ... 3200 stall i think i would have no trouble getting it to spool ..... I see a few people here... alot of them rear mounts... pretty big for a 5.3 when you have guys on here over 500 RWHP with a GT67...

I ran a remote mount GT-76 on my 5.3 LM7 and made 390rwhp at 6psi. I got that turbo with the intention of swapping out a bigger engine as well. I ran it at 8 psi for a while and I'm guessing I was at 440ish. I did get a smaller .70 A/R to help spool it up faster and I was seeing full boost around 3700 RPM which was fine for me but wasn't ideal for racing from a dig. Here's a vid of a 0-105 run.

was that on the sts kit in your sig? the front mount would help a bit.

There are C5/C6 Corvette guys doing 9's cutting 1.6+ 60ft times... in rear single and twin mounts. Its up to the CONSUMER to determine what their expectations are and build on that. Plenty of ways to skin that cat... so to speak Some build for soft launches for specific reasons... and some like putting on tire fire shows at the stop light.

Well I've since put in a built 6L with a different tranny, etc... but it was done with that same STS 76 that's still in there yes. Truck at the time was a stock 5.3L configuration with the added STS kit.
Not sure if that clears it up but I've only had one turbo and that was the 76, everything else around it has changed though.
