No, no...maybe I came across wrong, I'm not blaming anyone, I just want to make sure all possibilities are looked at so it doesn't happen again. I hired this tuner because he was the best in the business, but it isn't an in-person tune, so like you say there are many variables, and when guys with multiple turbo projects under their belts say 17 is too much timing, I'm inclined to take that into consideration and at least ask about it, as this is my first FI project. The tuner has been great to deal with, I just want to compare what he does with what others are doing, and investigate the difference in the hopes I can stop wrenching and start driving.

PS: 91 fuel was stated from the get go, by "mentioned it a couple times" I meant I reminded the tuner throughout the correspondence, as I knew it was important.

You get the IAT relocated and the a new engine yet?

 

Not yet, hopefully next week. Work has been nuts lately. Picked up an 80k mile 03 5.3 for it.
