Well I finished up my 4" duramax exhaust today, had a flowmaster cat back 3" in dual 2 1/2 out. I bought a duramax catback and got it in today! First thing I noticed was less lag and about 2 psi more boost! I got on it and it was hitting close to 14 psi in 3rd. I only have a 10 psi spring in the wastegate. The exhaust actually fit pretty well had to cut it alittle shorter but thats about it, I went from the collector back and had the exhaust shop make a reducer to go from 3-4". muffler is a long basterd 28" or so and strait thru, you can almost put your arm thru it, lol.
I actually think it might even be alittle quieter than the flowmaster. I think this is a great choice for turbo guys and only set me back 280 bucks with a shiny chrome tip. I think I might need to pull back the boost now since the turbo is about maxed.
I'll see if I can get some pics tomorrow when its not dark out.

It should be insteresting to see the differences, last time i was at the track i was running a 3000 stall and no cam. Now Im running a cam stock stall and new exhaust??? I just hope It didn't lose any on the ET but will most likely pick up on trap speed.

Man I wish I could hear this from inside the truck, I want to do something with my truck and get rid of this Flowtec Worlock, but I don't want drown or too loud in the truck. Right now I know my Flowtec is a big restriction as on high boost (11 lbs) at the track, just going from flowing though the muffler to pulling the cut out, out of the back of the muffler, I gained .5 sec. Thats like 50hp+ I'm giving up on the street.

It really doesn't have much drone, I think having the 4" is gonna be equal to a cutout without all the noise. If your standing by the tail pipe and give it a little rev you can hear the turbo spooling down
The exhaust brand is MBRP
