ok i have an 00 ecsb truck with the 4.8l have a v-2 with the stock pulley.. already ordered my 3in intercooler kit and have a ls9 cam/springs/cover ect waiting for the install... now here is my question... i have a tbss intake with a nick williams throttle body (and a new drive by wire throttle body if anyone needs one).. would it help to install it or would it be pointless?... i am going to swap the pulley down to the 2.81-2.6 and only spin it to 6k.. which i belive will over spin the blower to 55k on the 2.8 and 60k on the 2.6x pulley... will this intake help? later on i want to swap to some milled 243's... also what power u think it would put down?

it will put down, about 400 RWHP

 

not asking what its going to put down.. asking if the tbss intake will help or hurt me in the build?

 

It should gain a few hp with that intake. A member on here did a dyno before and after and he gained 15rwhp.
