4.8L Chevy Vortech Supercharged - Airfilter

So I currently have a my 4.8 supercharged and have the stock air filter. Should leave it or buy a K&N or if anyone knows of a better filter. Also this wouldnt call for another tune would it?

I would definately buy a K&N at minumum , I think the airaid are around $150 and work really well

Should I just buy the air filter or will the cold air kit work since it only looks to replace the factory box and not all the tubing like the others?
