Default 4.8 cam questions for turbo

buddies doing an on3 kit got a new cam cheap its a 223/226 610 605 115 cam
that too big for a stock 4.8l with ls9 gaskets and studs.

i have a set off 799 too. would it hurt it to throw those on? or too much compression?

Actually too little compression... it will lower it substantially.

I would bet that cam is too large, and it will seem very laggy... but I dont have much experience with turbo kits.
