On a side note, I'm in the process of building turbo kits for the 67-72 2wd trucks. I bought a 69 with a carb 5.3 in it right now that turbo is in the works. And I've already sold a BW S480 kit for one so I'd better get busy on it! lol

Oh, and I'd go with a simple 4.8/5.3 sbe if it's just a fun truck. No need to spend the extra on a 6.0 unless you're going all out and looking to make big power.

 

for a budget build i like the price point on the 05+ 4.8/5.3s. if i was going to mess with any kind of aftermarket bottom end parts, i would throw inches to it.
