Anyone else running this combo? I'm thinking I might have to lift up the truck an inch or two. What would you all do?

 

lol how the hell are we supposed to tell anything with the truck on a lift with the suspension dangling???

I see the intercooler below the bumper. Isn't there supposed to be like a little plastic strip on the bottom of the bumper that is about an inch tall? If so, put that back on.

Take a measurement with the truck on the ground at full weight with you in it. Then tell us how far off the ground the intercooler is. 3" is mandated by NHRA so thats where mine is, but there are no critical parts down there either.

If this is a track truck and you just need the 3" to allow for accurate et slips...........do that. If it's a street truck, well thats just gonna be up to you. Nobody else on here could answer either. We have no idea what the roads are like where you drive.

One last thought, if you are concerned about it........there is a good chance it's gonna get damaged. Do you have a simple solution for raising it up? Hopefully all the charge piping hasn't been made yet, as that would all have to be redone as well.

 

Thanks man, you make valid points. It's not a track truck, I drive it mainly on weekends and the kit is from KB. Thinking about lifting it 2" in both front and back so I don't have to worry so much.
