you have to repin the harness into the new computer. you need schematics and all. it took a day but it worked and can now run 3 bar ve.

well the trans is hating life and he wants to convert to a t56. we swapped out the stock hydro line with a -4 for the clutch. so shifting is easier. then i put a ls1 throttle body on it so the charge pipe would stay on. then i left for deployment and when i get back he will be gone on deployment. so maybe some time in like december we can start on it again. he want to upgrade the rockers and add water meth and up the boost. also will probably change the charge pipes up some more. when the trans isn't rattling and the charge pipes stay on it pulls like a mother ******. lol

a lot... lol i'm not sure. its built with all the right parts, the t70 should be right in its band right where it needs to be. 500-600 i think is his goal. i think we can hit that with ease. maybe we will find out next spring. he will probably need lots of meth or more injector. his 60's are about maxed out now. fuel pressure is good but the injectors are in the high 80's low 90's.

It went well. That's about it. Earl has the fittings and you just need a -4 an line made up. It was a bit of a pita to put the fitting in the master cyl. But it shifts much better now.

Why did he stick with the 4.3 instead of putting in an ls engine?

Because that what he had. There is a lot less money in that build than a 5.3 swap. Their might be $3,000 in the build tops. That's including everything, from bearings to turbo. We were bored on det in Guam and had nothing but research time to buy parts. He just ordered a meth kit and higher ratio rockers. After those go in it up the boost time and hopefully dyno time.
