The owner is on deployment at the moment so I haven't got to do anything with the truck. The syty mani's run about $500ish. Unless You find a good deal on them

What kind of info would you like on the build? We chose to build the motor just to be sure it was good. Not sure what kind of power it will hold stock. But fuel and a good trans is a good place to start.

Head over to syty.net or s10 forum for info on the builds. There have been several guys doing it including myself in a 2wd s10 platform.

A stock 4.3 is good to about 400 rwhp as proven by Parish on s10 forum with enough fuel and a decent air to air. h
I have a forged built 4.3 with ported and polished heads 266ahr cam and a marine intake. 9:1 slugs right now I have sy ty's for it and a downpipe I just have a stock ported turbo waiting to go on. I anticipate 350 or so rearwheel with no other mods.

I would love to put a bigger turbo but it's my daily commuter and I am just using up my spare 4.3 parts.

at least the fullsize trucks have enough room up front to mount a decent intercooler.

It's a give and take you go to a fullsize truck you have to push another 1500-2000 lbs of weight depending on the cab configuration. It's just easier to put a 5.3 or 6.0 in a gen 3 truck But I have found it's just as easy to stuff a 6.0 in an s10.

well the truck in this build i making some good power. his simein 60 injectors are almost maxed out. and it blew the stock clutch to pieces. the stock pump wasn't good enough for 6 psi at 4000 rpm lol.

The stock pump on the 4.3 is good to roughly 280 crank hp. First thing we learned when boosting the s10's was fuel is the weak point of the 4.3's the marine intake is a good solution for injectors. There are guy's in the 10's and a few in the 9's with sy ty setups in the s series trucks. The 4.3 has alot of potential the issue is not one really wants to spend the money building a v6 when you can get a v8 for less.

You guys gotta go do some checking around at syty.net and over on s10 forum and see what's been done it might help you if you keep on making more efforts with the 4.3

This truck is built and tuned already. I got my info from syty. Infact, this build thread is on syty lol. This thread is really old. Someone just brought it back from the dead. The only thing left on his truck is a good 5 speed. His is coming apart inside. It doesn't seem to like the turbo. Whn he gets back from deployment we may do some tweaking an add some meth and what not. I highly recommend a 411 computer swap if anybody is running that old pos 4plug thing they call a computer.
