Nope. The 5.3L dish is about 7 or 8 ccs, where as the 243s are only about 2.5cc bigger than 706s.

So what's a good choice of head gasket for boost? Aftermarket? Factory? I'd like to run a set of 243s on my 5.3. And are studs better than bolts?

I found some 243 s on ls1 tech for u
F/S LS6 243s - LS1TECH
CNC ported 243 heads - LS1TECH
And this is a great dyno thread as to the results of 243 s with a TBSS intake
