2016 Silverado Whipple tank vent line

2016 Silverado Whipple tank vent line
There’s a 3/8” rubber line about 4 feet long labeled ‘Tank vent line’ included in the kit. There’s no mention of it in the instructions. I’m reusing the stock evap solenoid/tank line.
Has anybody here run into this and know what it is?
