L86 not coming with the 6 spd transmission is no problem. Your engine control module and transmission control module are 2 separate pieces and your L83 controller will run the 6.2L no problem. All you need to do to start is copy & paste all the 6.2L parameters.
As far as the exhaust manifold threads either helicoil or timesert will both serve you well

Any input on the possibility of this truck working with 8L90e? Any experience with that setup in a AWD Escalade setup? Is there any sort of tcase control(like "auto" in this Z71) or is it all truly seamless?
Edit: PS: could I run a 8L90 with my current tcase?
Thanks.

Well anything is possible with enough time & money. I haven't researched or had any of my customers wanting to do a 8l90 swap. One guy who is pretty up on messing controllers is Dave from DSX Tuning in TX. I have tuned a few newer Escalades but never really paid attention to the transfer case control ****. I know on the older ones there was no **** or no control just AWD all the time.

Thanks. Hopefully more to come soon.
Now likely going to build the 6L80 or buy a built example of same. Any suggestions/feedback? PATC looks to be within a few hours of me which is nice.
5.3 4x4 would be 6L80 and not 90 right?
Thanks.
EDIT: Looks like RPO "MYC" indicates 6L80e.
