2011 Silverado Turbo help

Buy my KB front mount kit that's in the for sale section and add a nice Magnum T70, tune, some low cost Glopro gauges and I would bet he'd be pretty close to the $3300 as an entry fee...you know until the boost addiction hits.

You do have DOD and vvt only the 4.8s and 6.2s in the trucks don't have DOD. So yes for a cam swap you would have to swap the DOD lifters out. Idk bought a front mount but a rear mount turbo setup can be done for that price and done nice. A front mount can be done also but with used parts sourced out. There are plenty of kits that sell for that price range.

So yall are saying its impossible to go forced induction for less than 4000? We already have a boost and a wideband afr gauge, the trucks pump should be able to handle what were going to push, just picked up a set of 60lb injectors from a buddy for 150 bucks, the turbo kit is 3300, and a retune is less than a 100? Hmmm thats around 3600, we dont really have to worry about the tranny anytime soon because were not gonna push enough to get into the 6l80s breaking point. Anything wrong with my plan that yall can think of or can it still not be done for "3300 turbo?? double that...."

For what a 50-80 horse gain, compared to 150? It only costs a little bit more to go first class

I didn't see anywhere in your OP that said you already had gauges, injectors, and tuning covered, and weren't needed to be included in your budget. In fact, you asked if the stock pump & injectors could handle 6 or so psi, and that made me think you haven't done any research on the subject yet.
Then you come back with "we already have all this other stuff here..."
Sounds to me like you already have it all figured out. Good luck with the build.

With what you say you have, yes it can be done for under 4K. Can't think of anything else you need that you don't already have except for KB or Tricks stage 3 kit for the amount of boost you are wanting to run.
