Default 2011 Silverado magnuson 1900

Hi I have a 2011 5.3 Silverado that is my daily driver. So far I have a magnuson 1900 supercharger tuned by black bear, pasesetter long tube header, off-road y pipe and a borla s-type exhaust. In the spring I plan on getting a smaller pulley 3.2" and new injectors probably 85lbs. Any other suggestions on mods my goal is mid 500's at the tires. I know I should do some head work and cam but I don't really know much about them. I also thought about watermeth to keep it cold. Thank you for your suggestions

I wouldn't bother with a ported head. You don't need them for your goals. A cam would be a huge winner for you. You will need to pull the heads to delete displacement on demand when you do the cam.

You dont need a very aggressive cam to help reach your goals either, but the cam choice will depend on your wants and how you use the truck.

How do you want idle to sound?
How many miles do you drive every year? Is it a daily driver?
Do you tow?
You can go further than the 3.2 pulley... in fact I would probably jump right to a 3.0 to be honest. A 3.0 pulley with the right cam would probably land you almost exactly at 500 to the tires safely around 10 PSI.

I grew up around muscle cars so I would like it to lope a little it is my daily driver I put around 10-15k a year on it and I tow a 14' enclosed trailer quite a bit in the summer with a few quads in it. Jumping right to the 3.0 pulley would I need any other mods right away aka cam or fuel pump? Right now I have a 3.7" on it. Thanks

Is the truck factory flex fuel?

Most FF trucks "should" get you to that 500hp mark on regular pump gas. Of course there are some variable like how how rich you run the tune.

Any suggestions on cam and do they make a kit to delete the displacement on demand or do you just take the stuff out while it's apart

Texas speed has full DoD delete kits, as do several other places like brian tooley racing.

Pick a cam that is like a 212/218 if you want it to drive nice, keep the stock stall and maybe have a little lope depending on what LSA you choose.

The FF pump won't handle alot more power on E85. If you plan to run E85 alot you will want a larger pump and I highly suggest that you purchase a real flex fuel sensor and wire it into the computer. You will want to take advantaged of the on the fly sensor so you can switch between fuels without worry.

Factory flex fuel trucks or SUV's from 07-13 NNBS have no flex fuel sensor to measure alcohol content. All calculations are virtual and come from the o2 sensors instead. They read the content of the fuel based on what they see in the exhaust and it takes a long time to determine what it is and often being inaccurate at that.

If you plan to use E85 or run a mix of both you really need to purchase a real flex fuel sensor that goes inline with the feed line to the fuel rail. The faster and more accurate the reading the better the engine will perform at all times.

Ask vortec350ss to help you with the cam choice. He spec'd mine and it sounds healthy and males power right where I wanted it to.
