Default 2000 Silverado 4.8 lacks power at temperature

Mods in sig. When cold the truck runs great. All kinds of power, will blow the tires off through second gear as long as you keep your foot in it but as soon as it gets some temperature in it the power is gone. Forgot to mention that it also has 30 pound injectors. Dont know what tune is in it as I just got it and havent had a chance to get it on HP Tuners but any ideas???

That sums it up right there. Those non intercooled vortechs are fire breathers. Once that truck gets hot is it pulling all of the timing out. Take it to a dyno shop and have them tune it for you.

You might want to consider not going WOT again until you have it tuned.

I rarely do anyway. The truck is a daily driver/tow rig for the S10.
