It will just never cut timing...its a secondary rpm limit, you wont notice its doing anything unless you get to its set speed.

Yea you have to set it a couple hundred rpms less than what you can hold the converter at or you will just push through the verter before hitting the 2 step.

OP, I just installed the same 2 step last week and it took 10 min. Easiest install i've done on my truck and fun to use

I run mine using the brake as the momentary switch. Have a regular toggle to arm it. Works well.

I have mine on the brake switch too. I have the interrupt switch so it isnt always working. So I can do brake stands, then 2 step at the track. I am actually using the 2 step built in to the EFI Live COS. It works real well.

I might get the MSD someday as I am not too fond of cutting fuel instead of spark.

thanks for all the help i got it installed. used a pushbutton switch as a temporary ground. will post vids soon
