Default 2 piece MAF???

Wow, this is the first time ive blown a maf apart. Do I have it in a good location? Im not sure why it split like that. Any suggestions? Should I just bolt on a new one and go from there?

I stopped at a stop sign and took off. At the time it broke I was only at 14-15psi.

You sure the clamp wasn't too tight?? Maybe stressed it and snapped it off?

They break at the friction weld all the time under boost conditions... usually starting around 13psi. You can JB Weld it back together...

If you are looking for a new MAF, the Lingenfelter 100mm is all aluminum.
