I hear you on new truck prices. New trucks are very nice, but $60 to $70K for a new 2500HD CC 4x4 is crazy (sat in a Duramax last night that stickered for $75k). I will not have a 5 year truck payment that is near my mortgage.
I'm looking at the cost of putting a Trick turbo kit on my 2001 1500HD in late spring and I came up with about $8k. That's a good chunk of money, but if it keeps me interested in my current truck and puts off buying a new one for another 5 to 10 years, that is a good ROI.

I usually upgrade every 3 years or so but the new HD trucks are heinous and WAY over priced, not to mention the interior is cheap looking in comparison to others in its class. I do like the look of the new 1500 and I like the inline 6 diesel a lot but for 65k I think not. The auto manufacturers have lost their minds...
