2.75 pulley on the KB
#1
Well I finally installed the 2.75 pulley onto the KB and it rocks at 10-12lbs boost. The truck is pulling real hard and 0-60 is starting to get into the low 4's. I have one more pulley - the 2.5 might put me right at 4.0. Any thoughts on belt slip. Has anyone used a 2.5 pulley on their blower.

That is correct. The downside to that isn't just the temps, it's the fact that it's only happening because the blower is way out of it's efficiency range. The intercooler is a big help though, I agree.

True, I havent actually sat down to figure out what size pulley would max out the RPM on mine. I am running lower boost then V-Bond and shifting about the same or a tad lower so.. I am limited at this point by my injectors.

Well its been 1 week on the 2.75 pulley as a daily driver. I noticed that at Idle, Im losing vacuum as the blower is pushing air into the intake. At 35% throttle Im always in boost. at WOT there is 12lbs. How long will good fortune last?
