Default 1999 supercharged suburban questions

Hi, I just found this site and have a few questions about my set up. First let me tell you what I have. It is a 1999 suburban k2500 with a 7.4L motor and a whipple supercharger. The motor has been built. It has a forged eagle crank, forged eagle rods, keith black pistons, double roller timing chain, milodon high volume oil pump, new lifters, new pushrods, new harmonic balancer, new fly wheel, new high volume water pump, rebuilt stock injectors, new fuel rail and regulater, stock heads with new valves, light cam(don't know what it is), everything has been balanced and all bolt on parts have been replaced. The tranny (4l80e) has been rebuilt, tranfer case has been rebuilt, 14 bolt full float rear end (3:73) has been rebuilt, driveshafts have new spicer u-joints and have been balanced. Radiator is a B-kool alum direct fit with oil and tranns coolers, there are two seperate air cooled oil coolers installed. The exhaust has stock manifolds, 2 flow max cats, 1, 70 series BB flowmaster muffler. The whipple is a kit which I bought used and upgraded to all the new electronics. It is set to put out 6 pound boost. This is fine because I use the truck to pull a travel trailer. Now for my questions. The whipple can not have a innercooler installed. Is there some other way to keep the intake air temps down on a hot day, I live in the desert and it gets to be 110 most of the time? My exhaust gas temps when I pull a hill will run around 1600 degrees at 65 mph and 4-5 pounds boost. Is this normal for a 454? I still have the EGR hooked up and working. If I disconnect it will this help keep my intake air temp and exhaust gas temp down? thanks for any help answering my question. Please keep in mind this is a california truck and has to meet smog requirements. Kirk

I would think most people will suggest meth injection as the answer. This LINK would be a good place to start.
