That bucket is there to allow the pump to continue sending fuel when the fuel level is low and the truck is on an incline.

Well I talked to Aeromotive today about the pump kit I think his name was Bill he is the head of tech department, we talked for a while he said he thinks it might be the same opening as the truck but wasn't for sure and of course the stand pipe would need to be lengthened he said he wouldn't be willing to do a one off but he could sell the parts and give the tech support and the Vette kit doesn't use a bucket because it uses the syphon design with two tanks the pump tank always stays full and doen't swoosh around, enough small talk he said if you guys made enough inquiries to them it could be built!

Nobody's going to want it because it does not fit the stock bucket. It is a cool idea, but it doesn't matter how much power the pump will support if you can't keep it submerged in fuel.

Well hey man I just try to stay open minded, I think saves you money and time to think outside the box it has always worked for me and I thought I would pass on some good info, I think the pump could just be installed in the bucket if fuel starvation is a problem I have installed a walbro there is all kinds of room in there!
