Default 1400hp fuel fix!

How are you guys doing, I would have too say that I have the utmost respect for the turbo charged 1000hp trucks but I have read all the stuff you guys have gone through with fueling issues even after 600hp, so I thought I would enlighten you guys of a new product offered even though it is for a corvette there has to way to adapt it!

depending on the flange o/d and thickness it may just need to be extended but that billet piece looks like it would have to be custom and unless aeromotive is willing to work with you it will cost you a bit to get custom made .

Well Aeromotive is right down the road from me the sivlerado has alot less sufisticated fuel system so it should be cheaper that would be sweet if you just had to get a longer stand pipe!

It looks like basically just a bare intank pump used in conjunction with converting to a return style system. You still lose the functionality of the factory bucket and will have to be sure to maintain an adequate fuel level in the long truck tanks or risk sucking up air.

Dude I would have to say that's quite the truck you have there, I have never seen a set up like that, anyways the pump still pulls from the bottom of the tank but it is not spring loaded like the factory unit and I guess it could put a hole in the bottom of the tank but it is a simple design!

If the top of their sending unit will work with the truck lock ring, I think everything else could work. The lock ring would hold everything in place if the sending unit doesn't reach the bottom of the tank. The hose that goes to the pump could be lengthened or shortened as needed.

Thanks. I was just pointing out that this is not a perfect setup for our trucks as there is no mechanism to keep the bucket filled under low fuel conditions - there is no bucket. This is the same problem with many of the intank high flow or dual pump mods.

The siphon system they refer to is used to transfer fuel from the second tank in the Vettes.

It is a quick and solid way to drop a very high flow pump in the tank though.

Not trying to pull the card on that thought but I have worked on a couple of these trucks but including my 2001 sierra but the bucket only houses the fuel pump the fuel filter pulls from outside the bucket I am guessing the bucket keeps fuel in it to cool the pump any rate I will call them tomorrow when I get off work and I did notice the pressure sensor and the evap lines are not included in the corvette assembly but I bet it wouldn't be hard to add, or a vented gas cap!
