Magnsuon says the 112 makes 120HP, so Joe you are saying the 122 will add 220HP?

it will add 200 or so HP to a motor that is built to take the boost levels required to get there. It will NOT make 200+ hp on a stock motor....for long anyhow.

although with the MP112 and headers/exhaust I did see a very nice increase in power. stock 240rwhp, MP112/headers/exhaust 430rwhp........so about 190rwhp gain

AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where did you get it dose it come with install instructions how much???

I'll bet you $1,000 someone will prove that statement wrong.

I don't think anyone has taken a 5.3 and put forged dish pistons in it @8.5:1, 4340 rods and leave a stock cam and heads in it. So I doubt anyone will prove that statement wrong. At least, that is what I got from that is a stock type engine you are refering to with your statement.

So how much will a 4.8 5 spd put down stock? 220-240rwhp maybe?

I put down 445/489 tq with a stock 4.8 short block, stock heads with 9.5:1, 216/224 114 .558/.558 cam, meth injection, & a 3.00" pulley that gave 12lbs boost. It wasn't even a purpose built engine with lower compression etc...

I built at least 200 more rwhp with a cam and meth on 93 octane. Please enlighten me on why you would bet $1000 to prove Brian's statement wrong or I will do it, or even better again and take your $1000.
