Default 104oct?? What are yalls opinions?

We are goin to the track This sunday. I was thinking about mixing some 93oct and 104oct just to get it a little higher.
Im at 6psi Intercooled, would this help or hurt any?

Goin to try to dial my tune in.... got to get that WB installed ASAP!!

But would the 104 be a waste of money?? It sure does smell good...

It will be a waste if you dont tune for it. Should help a little if you do.

Don't waste your money at 6 psi.

Do you have the ability to add timing? If so, what is your current timing at 6psi? What are your IAT's?

i usually run 93 and 110 at a 50/50 mix when i know i'm going to the track and running high boost... otherwise, when i'm running low boost and low boost tune I stick with 93.

BTW- I love the way 110 smells... and in the morning when my truck is running pig rich and with no cats... mmm mmmm good. Walk behind it and it'll make your clothes smell like race fuel for the day too LOL

My truck let me add almost 5* of timing with the race fuel, and no KR. I am running 5.5 - 6psi. It definately made a difference adding 5*. IATs stayed around 95*, the ambient temps were around 65*.

This should be your order of buisness.
Change boost first, you can go up to 10 psi safely.
Change up your timing to accomodate added boost.
Then if you still want more add race fuel.
You can achieve the same powerlevels you might attain with race gas by simply upping the boost a bit.
